Building with AI is easy - understanding the consequences - less so

I am currently building out the GypSynth platform. There are many AI based capabilities - most of which add value to news, patent and scientific intelligence in the Gypsum space.

Today however, I hit my first IP based dilemma...

The GypSynth platform tracks Gypsum Industry patents via a set of WIPO feeds. When alerted, it requests documents from the prosecution dossier, to generate a full prosecution history, analysis, likely next moves in the examination - and a suggested scope of the final granted patent.

Nice - but in the last patent it processed, it detected an issue in the examiner's interpretation of the prior art. If this was not detected by the assignee - it could be valuable intel (the AI even asked if I wanted it to draft a response to the examiner) ...... But "one man's meat is another man's poison"

Unwittingly, I now have a disruptive tool - and one I could deploy at scale.

But before doing so - time to reflect
